Abstract: This review aims to present and analyze the content of the eight volumes published thus far in the series Proceedings of the Centre for Economic History Research. Primarily focused on the economic history of Bulgaria, Southeast Europe, and the Balkans, the publication offers a comprehensive examination of key topics.

A quantitative, and in some cases qualitative, analysis has been conducted on a total of 219 articles within the series. Notably, a significant portion of the materials explores themes such as trade and entrepreneurship, spanning chronologically from the Ottoman conquest of Bulgarian lands to the onset of the Second World War.

The series demonstrates a balanced approach, combining broad evaluations with local and regional studies, thus making a substantial contribution to the field. Moreover, it offers high-quality theoretical syntheses and critical observations. Consequently, the eight volumes published thus far serve as a solid foundation for future editions.

Keywords: review, historiography, series, economic history, economics.
